Alfalfa Medicago sativa Germinate seeds for 8 days and wash thoroughly before eating –these are a good source of vitamin K and antioxidant activity. Also has been used to aid where there is hormone imbalance (PMT, pain etc) Not for people with auto-immune disease e.g. Rheumatoid arthritis
Aniseed Pimpinella anisum Aids digestion; soothes coughs and colds. Traditionally an aphrodisiac.
Celery seed  Apium graveolens Used as a tonic that reduces blood pressure, aid digestion and helps urinary tract infection. It is also believed to help rheumatism, osteo-arthritis and gout. Use small amounts.
Cocoa butter Theobroma cacao Historically is taken to aid the heart and is a bitter, stimulant diuretic. 
Garuana Paullinia cupana This herb has been used as a stimulant. Try roasting the seeds first. Avoid it if you have hypertension or a heart condition!
Linseed (Flax) Linum usitatissimim Customarily used as a laxative, to aid digestion, and soothes gastric complaints. Also used to ease colds, coughs, and sores throat.
Milk thistle Silybum marianum Used as a tonic to protect the liver from damage such as cirrhosis. Alleged to  reduce alcohol (and other drug) effects on the liver.
Psillium husks Plantago psyllium Traditionally taken to soothe irritation of bowels, absorb digestive toxins and help lessen appetite.
Radish Raphanus sativus Used to treat bronchitis. It is believed to have antibacterial and antifungal effects.
