Chewz Your Root is a part of CDP Products, a small business based in Bedale, North Yorkshire. Our Managing Director, Dr Rachel Price has gained many years of experience of herbs used in traditional medicines through her work in researching the extraction of botanical materials. She has gained an insight into the permitted levels of chemicals left behind in pharmaceutical preparations and some extracted, standardised tablets and, over time, become increasingly unhappy with the standards set.

We are  determined to give you the option of returning to use of herbs in their most traditional, unadulterated form. We strictly monitor our suppliers, the majority of whom have organic certification. In addition we ourselves are working to gain British Standard accreditation for the herbs which we supply. As in the food industry we work with HACCP to ensure the quality of the product. All materials supplied are also given an unique traceability number. We not only ensure the standards, we set them.
